ERC Croatia Rally: The Best European Drivers and Crews to Visit Zagreb

From 3 to 5 October Zagreb will welcome a European automobile event; ERC Croatia Rally, the last competition in this year’s calendar of the European Rally Championship. Therefore, Croatia will be the very spot where the decision on the final rankings of the season will take place.

The best European drivers and crews will gather in Zagreb in order to mark the end of a year filled with sporting competitions and adrenaline thrills. The ceremony of the start and finish of this competition will take place at attractive locations in Zagreb, which will allow Croatian and international audience to experience rally in the very centre of the city. This will reaffirm Zagreb as a favourite destination for large sporting competitions and events.

The service area will be located next to the Westgate Shopping Centre in the western part of the city, and speed tests will take place in Samobor and Žumberak hills and in Hrvatsko Zagorje turning them into a stage where new chapters of European automobile history are written.

This competition is an excellent sporting event, but also an opportunity to promote Zagreb and Croatia. An important contribution to this is the television broadcast that will be watched across Europe and wider. The European Rally also announces the return of the Croatia Rally in the calendar of the World Rally championship (WRC), which will take place in Croatia from 9 to 12 April 2026. Croatia has signed a contract to host the World Championship both for season 2026 and 2027, which reaffirms its status of an important hub. WRC crews have competed in Croatia four times already, and it received a lot of praise for the organisation as well as natural beauty.
