30th Edition of Cest is d’Best: Laughter and Interesting Encounters Are Guaranteed!

Cest is d’Best will take place from 28 to 31 May and fill the streets with singing, dancing, magic and juggling tricks and other entertaining programmes.

This jubilee, 30^th edition of the four-day street festival will fill the streets and squares of Zagreb with joy and laughter, bringing as many as 500 hours of various programmes performed by artists from Zagreb, the entire Croatia as well as several European, South American and Asian countries. During the festival, around 50 circus shows as well as many entertaining and educational programmes intended for all generations will take place. Interesting accidental or agreed meetings are guaranteed.

In addition to performances by various artists, a dance party will take place in the central Ban Josip Jelačić Square in between the festival stands. Also, you will be able to visit a gastro corner in Zrinjevac Park, evening dances is front of the Music Pavilion and many other activities.

Several bands from Croatia and Italy will perform in addition to numerous buskers on music stages in Flower Square and Zrinjevac Square.

The jubilee street festival will be even more celebratory on the final day, 31 May because that is the Zagreb City Day, which will be marked with a special festival programme. For the first time after more than a hundred years in Zagreb, above the central Ban Josip Jelačić Square there will be several acts of walking on a wire which will be set up above the roofs of buildings and go almost directly above Manduševac Fountain, one of the city’s symbols.

Cest is d’Best is very popular with citizens and visitors of Zagreb. In the previous 29 years several hundred artists from around 70 countries of the world performed at the festival, and their acts were seen by several hundred thousand spectators.
