Zagreb Classic

Classically the best part of summer

19 June – 3 July 2026 | King Tomislav Square

Zagreb Classic returns this summer to King Tomislav Square, transforming the heart of Zagreb into a unique open-air stage. From 19 June, audiences can enjoy nine free concerts featuring outstanding Croatian and international artists, orchestras, choirs, and soloists.

The programme is anchored by four concerts of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside performances by the Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra and Choir of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, and the ensemble of the Komedija Zagreb City Theatre. The festival will also welcome internationally acclaimed artists, including pianists Ramin Bahrami and Polina Osetinskaya, accordion virtuoso Richard Galliano, violinist Liya Petrova, and opera stars Erin Morley and Lawrence Brownlee.

A special highlight of the programme is the celebration of World Music Day on 21 June, when, in addition to the concert at King Tomislav Square, a special concert for children and young audiences will take place at Zrinjevac Park.

Since its launch in 2016, Zagreb Classic has grown into one of Zagreb’s most recognisable summer festivals, attracting thousands of visitors each year and turning the city into a stage filled with music, emotion, and the magic of summer evenings.

Free admission to all concerts.

We recommend visitors to arrive on foot, by bicycle or public transport, so we can together contribute to a more pleasant and sustainable festival experience and to preserving the city areas.

As part of the festival’s sustainable practices, visitors are encouraged to use reusable water bottles, which they can refill at nearby drinking water points – Zagreb’s Francek fountains, located on Strossmayer Square and King Tomislav Square.
