To the Rhythm of Rock: A Dynamic Autumn of Concerts in Zagreb
In September and October, rock season in Zagreb brings visits of several world bands.
Zagreb is an attractive destination for rock fans due to the concerts of world-famous rock bands who often choose to visit this city on their world or European tours. This will be the case this autumn, as proven by the calendar of concerts in September and October.
On 16 September, autumn season will start with the concert of Swedish post-rock band Mogwai which will perform at the Culture Factory. Just three days later, on 19 September at the Boogaloo club, Swedish band Smash into Pieces will perform for the first time in front of audience in Zagreb. They are expected to perform songs from their very successful album Ghost Code as well as some hits from their new repertoire. Pioneers of gypsy punk movement Gogol Bordello will perform on 30 September at the Culture Factory as part of their European tour. This is where they have already given concerts several times in front of a thrilled audience. In the same space, legends of Swedish progressive metal, band Opeth will perform on 7 October. They are returning as part of their European tour to promote their new album The Last Will & Testament.
On 23 October, Morcheeba is coming to the Culture Factory in Zagreb with their new album. One of the most recognisable bands blends elements of trip-hop, alternative rock, R&B and downtempo in a unique way. They are audience favourites on the international music scene as well as in Croatia.
