45th Edition of Grič Evenings: Excellent Classical Music Concerts in a Unique Upper Town Ambience
For more than four decades, excellent classical music concerts entitled the Grič Evenings make summer in Zagreb recognisable.
The Grič Evenings is the name of a classical music festival whose 45th edition will take place from 8 to 22 July this year. A series of concerts of excellent foreign and Croatian musicians will be held in the romantic Upper Town, in the atrium of the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery.
The first concert will take place on 8 July and bring together the Croatian Baroque Ensemble and Zefira Valova, a Bulgarian violinist with an international acclaim. The Philharmonic String Quintet Berlin and the soloist Ziyang Zhao on the cello will perform on 13 July. Covent Garden Choir will perform at Klovićevi Dvori Gallery on 15 July, and Croatian pianist Aljoša Jurinić will hold a concert on 21 July. One day later, Voces8, an awarded British classical vocal ensemble will be welcomed at the Grič Evenings.
The Grič Evenings offer a special experience that attracts a great number of classical music fans from Croatia and abroad.
