Communication Days: Prestigious IdejaX Awards to Zagreb

Zagreb won four prestigious awards for two promotional campaigns, which once again confirms creativity of messages and their innovative realisation.

The Zagreb Tourist Board and the City of Zagreb have won the total of four prestigious IdejaX awards at this year’s edition of the Communication Days, the largest festival of communication and creativity in Croatia.

The Zagreb Museum Weekend (MUV), realised in cooperation with Superstudio, won gold in the Best Branding & Rebranding category and silver in the Tourism, Culture and Leisure category. The campaign Ne dajte se izvozati za cijenu Taxi vožnje (“Be aware that taxi fare isn’t always fair”) realised with studio Šanavala won bronze in the Best Outdoor category as well as bronze in the Miscellaneous category.

Owing to these recognitions, the Zagreb Tourist Board is now the fifth in the total rankings of awarded advertisers and it became the highest ranked institutional advertiser of this year’s IdejaX competition.

“The fact that our projects were recognised at the Communication Days, a festival that gathers the best in the field of creative industry and communication, makes us proud” said, Martina Bienenfeld, the Zagreb Tourist Board Director. Ms Bienenfeld continues: “These recognitions confirm the importance of high-quality cooperation between institutions and creative partners, but also the importance of a bold, innovative approach in promoting Zagreb. We would like to thank the City of Zagreb, our partners and creative teams of Superstudio and Šanavala for their dedicated work, talent and excellent cooperation.”

Let us note, the Zagreb Museum Weekend (MUV), is a new cultural event initiated in September 2025, which for the first time gathered museums in Zagreb in a joint, multi-day programme. It was created at the initiative of the City Office for Culture and Civil Society in Zagreb in cooperation with the Zagreb Tourist Board, which created the visual identity and implemented the campaign. The informative campaign Ne dajte se izvozati za cijenu Taxi vožnje (“Be aware that taxi fare isn’t always fair”) was initiated at the initiative of the Zagreb Tourist Board, realized in cooperation with the City Office for Municipal Self-Government, Transport, Communal Services, Civil Protection and Safety. Its aim is to inform citizens and visitors about more transparent and safer use of taxi services in Zagreb.
