Zagreb Fair: A Dynamic Autumn in Business
Every autumn, business people are drawn to Zagreb by fairs with long tradition, interesting business meetings, opportunities to collaborate and follow trends in various areas of business and life.
For more than a century, the Zagreb Fair has been a platform for business networking and economy promotion. This autumn, it proves this position with a rich calendar of specialised events that attract a number of business people from Croatia and the region to Zagreb.
AMBIENTA, the 52nd International Furniture, Interior Decoration and Supporting Industry Fair will take place from 25 to 28 September. On this occasion, offer of renowned manufacturers from all segments of home decoration will be presented in the exhibition pavilion. This year the focus is on sustainability, renewable materials, energy efficient construction and smart housing solutions. Two crucial conferences stand out in the eventful programme accompanying the exhibition: Construction and investment 2025 and I want an elevator! Also, the world competition Bocuse d'Or / WorldChefs will take place within the hotel and catering exhibition zone.
Essential event for all book lovers who look forward to it each autumn is the 47th edition of the International Book Fair Interliber. This year it will take place from 11 to 16 November. It is a leading event for promotion of books, writers and reading, gathering most prominent Croatian publishers and bookshops which will present an exceptionally rich programme of new editions from various fields. The exhibition is regularly accompanied by an attractive additional programme – panel discussions, workshops, lectures and meetups with authors, which bookworms look forward to. A special guest of this year’s Interliber is Paul Lynch, Booker Prize winner for dystopian novel Prophet Song.
From 4 to 7 December, the Zagreb fair will turn into a meeting point of as many as three large fairs: CroAGRO, Food and healthy living fairs and MODERNPAK& INTERGRAFIKA.
CROAGRO, the International Fair of Agriculture, Agricultural Equipment and Machinery gathers the best of the agricultural and food industry. A novelty is the Agriculture and Agribusiness Job Fair, which is accompanied by conference entitled Sustainable work force: a road to efficient agriculture.
Food and healthy living fairs are dedicated to healthy and organic food and sustainable lifestyle. They are divided into several units based on topics dedicated to food industry, organic food and similar.
The last of the fair triplet is the MODERNPAK&INTERGRAFIKA, International packaging Materials, Packaging Technology and Printing Industry Fair which will showcase the most recent solutions and technologies which are crucial for product presentation and sales.
