In an effort to continuously improve the quality of services provided to tourists as well as citizens, the Zagreb Tourist Board extended and enriched the information campaign dedicated to using taxi service which started last year. “The aim is to inform tourists and citizens but also service providers in a clear and transparent manner about the regulations of using taxi service, prompt responsible behaviour and contribute further to the image of Zagreb as a safe and welcoming destination” says Martina Bienenfeld, the Zagreb Tourist Board Director.

Signs with a message were put up at the busiest locations in the very centre of the city, near hospitals and main stations, as well as at the arrival area of the Franjo Tuđman Airport. They contain a graphic representation of a trip from point A to point B with straight lines, which points to the simplicity of using this service. The second sign with an image of tangled lines is accompanied by suitable messages of confusion and disappointment, written in Croatian and English, which clearly indicates a service which does not correspond to the standards of professional conduct of taxi operators.

The integral part of the visual representation, signed by creative agency Šanavala, is a QR code that leads to a subpage of the site www.infozagreb.hr. This is where information on how to recognise licensed taxi drivers and the list of standard prices of taxi services in Zagreb can be found. Choosing licenced taxi drivers is the best road to a quality service and a simple and pleasant trip to your destination.
