Concerts in June: What a Music Programme!

Sting, one of the most successful musicians of today’s world, will visit Zagreb on 17 June. The concert of this 17-Grammy-award winner in the Zagreb Arena Hall is part of the world tour Sting 3.0. Excellent reviews stress Sting’s blend of charisma, intellect and music refinement, which is a guarantee that spectators in Zagreb are in for a night to remember.
The Offspring, a punk rock legend from California and one of the greatest bands of the genre, will hold an open-air concert on 14 June at the Zagreb Fair. The fact that tickets for the previously chosen concert hall in Šalata have been sold out in just two hours shows how interested the audience is. Due to this, it has been decided that the concert will take place in a larger hall. This is the band’s first visit after 17 years so it is understandable that one of iconic bands of the global pop culture is eagerly expected.
Anthrax, trash metal legends that belong to one of four leading bands of the genre, will give a concert at the Boogaloo club on 15 June. This American band, which released 14 albums in 45 years, last time visited Zagreb ten years ago. Their typical sound combines heavy metal and hardcore, and they will be remembered in the music history as one of the first bands that combined metal and hip-hop.
Cult American rock super-band A Perfect Circle will hold a concert at the Šalata Sports and Recreation Centre on 16 June. The open-air concert is part of the major European tour.

This band is a global cultural phenomenon from Los Angeles, which redefined the boundaries of pop-music, urban culture and mainstream.
