It links the Donji grad and Gornji grad parts of Zagreb every day and on holidays from 6.30 AM to 10 PM. The rides are every 10 minutes, and a one-way ticket costs 5 kn. In case of emergency, the passengers can pay 25 kn for an urgent ride. Monthly, yearly, as well as single tickets are all valid for the Funicular.
Compared to other public-transport funiculars, this one is the world’s shortest, with the track length of 66 meters. Since it has kept its original appearance and construction, as well as most of its original technical properties, the Zagreb Funicular is protected as a monument of culture.
