The program continues with two iconic works by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The Romeo and Juliet Overture blends captivating romantic melodies with dramatic orchestral textures, depicting the passion and destiny of lovers, while the elegant Waltz of the Flowers from Them Nutcracker brings dazzling grace and opulence of colors. The overture from the opera Ruslan and Lyudmila by Mikhail Glinka – a brilliant display of energy and orchestral splendor – will end this spectacular concert.
