One interesting walk through Zagreb

+385 95 39 29 023

Do you know that there used to be traffic on Zagreb's main square? Zagreb became world famous in the 19th and 20th centuries.  We  had a miss pageant , Orient Exspress also passed there, and so much famous people who lived and worked here, that it is worth mentioning. You have all heard of Mr. Penkala and Herman Bollé. Do you know how great Josip Juraj Strossmayer and Ferdinand Budicki were ? And the most important information, the first driver in Croatia was Mrs. Alma pl. Balley, passed the driving test back in 1914. She will take you through Zagreb from the Central Station through Zrinjevac to Ban Jelačić Square and Kaptol. It doesn't matter what the weather is like, real drivers drive in rain and snow and not just in the sun, said the first Croatian driver a long time ago, and we will listen to her advice and take a walk in any weather.

I am looking forward to Zagreb as a destination where I always feel good. It seems it has been too long since the last time I was here, although it was just a year or so.

I was very looking forward to coming to Zagreb, especially because my mother travelled with me. My people found out everything about it, so that we could see the main stuff in the city!

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.
