This is our first time in Zagreb. We're really having a great time. We won't be able to see the coast, but we'll get some rest and walk around the city...

How did the two small towns merge into one? History that spans over 900 years of Kaptol and Gradec resulted in an 1850 union into a city that continues to expand towards Sava River in a harmonious beauty of historicism, secession and modern. A licenced tour guide will lead you to Kaptol; together you will explore the baroque palaces and defensive walls from the Middle Ages on Gradec, and take a ride on the shortest funicular in the world, the one that connects Lower and Upper Town. In the end you will be greeted by the shade of plane trees on Zrinjevac, next to the city’s old core.
