UNKNOWN HEROINES, CHRISTMAS EDITION
The history of the city through the experience of women from different historic periods and different social backgrounds. Even though we will point out several more or less known historic figures, we also want to create characters who will embody what meant to be a maid at someone’s court, a teacher, a nun from the wealthy Zrinski family, a divorcee, what it was like to wear fancy dresses or to be tightly laced in a corset, what is a lycée for girls, what kind of parties did 11 Anka Gvozdanović throw; what the etiquette allows to women; when the first women’s protests took place; whom did Adam Baltazar Krčelić call the Diana of Zagreb and condemned her extravagant parties; how the parties followed Suzana Drašković from Varaždin to Zagreb and many other similar stories.
