The Zagreb Fair starts off 2019 with a packed timetable of exhibitions.
The new business year at the Zagreb Fair starts off with the biggest Nautika Fair this decade. Visitors can also expect a varied offering of outboard motors, equipment for boats and yachts, diving and fishing equipment and clothing and shoes for sailing. There will be elegant examples of Croatian traditional shipbuilding in wood, an exhibition of nautical photography, a gastronomic offering… More than 30,000 fans of nautical sports are expected to attend.
From 20 to 24 February Hotel & Gastroteh will be held, the 11th international festival of gastronomy and hotel and catering equipment. Visitors can expect a great number of attractions: educational presentations and workshops, delicious tastings, presentations of the skills of future cooks and confectioners at the School of Hotels and Catering in Zagreb, the CRO TOP 10 competition between the best Croatian chefs, and more.
At the same time, from 20 to 24 February, the 3rd Festival of Hunting and Fishing will also be held at the Zagreb Fair. Last year 64 exhibitors from 14 countries took part in the fair. It has a great programme of events including an exhibition of stuffed wild animals, exhibitions of snakes, fish and fungi, a competition of hunters’ choirs, a review of hunting dogs, a falconry display and much more.
February 23 and 24 are the days when the 4th Festival of Olives is held, a meeting of the best olive growers and experts, with visitors keen to grab some excellent olive oil and other olive products. The festival will be held in the Congress Centre of the Zagreb Fair and has several themed units from an olive oil competition to tastings of oils and cheeses, and a sales exhibition where you can buy top quality olive oil.
